Mr. Cancio-Bello attended Saint Leo College in Saint Leo, Florida from 1970 – 1974 and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Physical Education. He also attended Tampa University from 1978 – 1979 and received a Masters Degree in Education. Continuing education consisted of receiving his Association Manager’s certificate for Property Managers. Mr. Cancio-Bello has been married for over 27 years and his wife also has a degree in Education. He has a son and a daughter and 3 grandchildren.. He enjoys athletic activities and is an avid Miami Hurricanes fan. He spent two years as a coordinator of the CETA program for Pinellas County and then became a teacher with the Dade County School System. In 1981 Mr. Cancio-Bello began employment with a full service property management company as an on-site manager overseeing 1,500 residential homes. He then became a roving property manager responsible for several thousand units. In 1986 he was promoted to Vice President, a position he held until July of 1988. In August of 1988, Miami Management Inc. was founded by Mr. Cancio-Bello and his partner, Eduardo Gonzalez. In over 16 years, Miami Management has grown from the full service management of two Associations to the management and maintenance of over 500 Associations, consisting of more than 50,000 unit owner accounts. His 25 years experience in property management provides opportunities to draw upon when facing challenges within the industry.

A successful businessman in Central America, Mr. Gonzalez owns and operates several companies in Panama, including Electro Sistemas de Panama, S.A. After expressing an interest in forming a service related business in the South Florida marketplace, Mr. Gonzalez formed an alliance with Mr. Cancio-Bello in 1988, to form Miami Management Inc. His years of business experience assisted with the foundation and development of Miami Management.

Martha Reidy

A Miami resident since 1972, Mrs. Reidy attended the University of Miami with a major in Sociology and is a Certified Association Manager. In her free time, she enjoys water activities and boating with her daughter Bailey. In 1983, she joined a full service management and maintenance company as an assistant on-site property manager, then she was promoted to on-site property manager for a 1,400 unit residential community. In 1986, she became a roving property manager. In 1988, Mrs. Reidy joined Miami Management as a roving property manager and in 1993 was promoted to the Director of Property Management. In 1996 Martha was promoted as Dade County Division Manager. In 2000 she was promoted to Vice-president of the Miami-Dade Division.

Rad Diaz

Mr. Diaz joined Miami Management at its’ inception in 1988 and has served as the Company’s Broward Division Manager since 1993. He has also served as On-site manager, Roving Property Manager in charge of multiple sites, Sales in the new Palm Beach and Fort Myers Divisions, and has been a member of the Senior Advisory Committee of the Company since 1993. In 2000, Mr. Diaz was promoted to Vice-president of the Broward Division. Prior to joining Miami Management, Mr. Diaz was a property manager for a complete service company for two years. He attended Florida International University where he received a bachelor degree in Business Finance and in International Business Management. Rad and his wife Christi have been married for 11 years. They have two daughters and a son.

Cathie Carr

A Miami resident since 1972, Ms. Carr attended Miami-Dade College and Florida International University with a double major in Business Administration and Accounting. In her free time she enjoys riding horses in show jumping events. In 1983 Ms. Carr joined a full service management company and shortly thereafter became an on-site property manager. She then became a roving property manager and was promoted to the Director of Property Management, a position she held until May 1991. Ms. Carr then joined Miami Management in 1991. Her current responsibilities include a variety of corporate functions, educating our staff in the continual changes to state laws, and expanding our client base. In March 1997, Ms. Carr opened our  office in West Palm Beach (MMI of the Palm Beaches), where we look forward to further expansion. In 2000 she was promoted to Vice-president of the Palm Beach Division.

A Miami native, Mr. Savage attended the University of Tampa and received his degree in Physical Education. After a successful Olympic and Professional career in Soccer, Mr. Savage received his Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Florida. In 1989 he joined a development firm designing, installing and maintaining luxury residential landscape. In 1993 he received his Community Association Management License and began managing the developer owned association as well as the luxury high rise building. He enjoys fishing with his son.

Vicky Valdés

A Miami native, Ms. Valdés received a bachelors degree in accounting from Florida International University as well as an M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University. In 1992, she joined Northern Telecom; a multi-national company, as a financial analyst. In 1994, Ms. Valdés joined Miami Management as the controller. She was given the task of implementing a new accounting software in addition to the management of over 35 employees. The software and hardware continues to be upgraded in order to take our company well into the 21st century.

A native of Miami, Ms. Hallin has been in the property management industry since 1982. She has been with Miami Management since it’s conception in August of 1988, and is currently in charge of the payroll processing for the entire organization as well as other payroll related functions. Ms. Hallin also serves as the assistant to the President, Guillermo Cancio-Bello.
